Artist Statement & Resume

I have been creating diverse websites for a variety of clients and industries since 2012. I am a graduated art student cleverly disguised as a web developer and designer. Early on, it was obvious that it would be more difficult to make a living by just making paintings in my parent’s basement, so I pivoted and focused my energies on designing and building informative, delightful websites.

This has proven to be a wonderful decision because it launched a career combining traditional artistic principles with skilled development, data-driven decisions, and modern technology. I enjoy being challenged, collaborative environments, and believe that websites are living, breathing organisms that require constant change to make the internet a more beautiful place.

In my free time, I enjoy cross stitching, crocheting, and collecting signed books. I am a mega-fan of Harry Potter and Game of Thrones, and I make pop culture references whenever possible.
